I can't believe that Bungie is going to leave a number of exotics in the dust. I think they are making a very poor decision. By doing this, people aren't going to want to use these weaker and older exotics anymore and they will be just as hard to obtain as the stronger year two exotics because they are still classified as exotics. It would just be disappointing to finally make it to an exotic chest only to get a year one exotic (gjallarhorn) out of it, when your friend gets an exotic weapon that can be upgraded to year two damage.

No. I don't want to feel obligated to use one weapon for all pve content. I want a choice. I will keep 1 in the vault for memory but it needs to stay a year 1 hero
