I think a good compromise would to be to decrease the ammo count down to original size and then just make it so that the white nail perk only takes one bullet or two out of your inventory. Or maybe increase the magazine to 4 and make it so if you land the 4 shots, it refills the magazine at the cost of 2 bullets. Just a few thoughts.
