I'm really looking forward to trying to test a bunch of weapons in PvP after update 2.0.0. I have a feeling that Scout Rifles will feel more powerful, but have a fear that Red Death and The Messenger will still be among the fastest Time To Kill weapons. As a long time fan of Scout Rifles I am looking forward to the new update. There were places in PoE 34 where one shot from my Scholar would leave enemies at about 1% health and in PoE 35 where two shots would leave them at about 3%. So, the 5% buff on AI damage should change this to one-shot and two-shot kills. And with the increase to base magazine size The Scholar should have a clip of 15 or more after 2.0.0. I'm very excited. Now I'll admit The Scholar (Adept) is my favorite weapon in the game right now. It reminds me of The Aries Nemesis X4 that I used all the time until I got a Fatebringer. In the current state of the Crucible I can go positive using The Scholar, but only barely - about 1.2 - 1.5 k/d. Not the usual 2 - 3 k/d I get using Thorn, The Last Word, Red Death, or The Messenger. I'm looking forward to trying it after 2.0.0 goes live. Even if it isn't the most powerful weapon I might use it all the time anyway.
