All of these changes were perfect. Ghorn, BH, and IB needed nerfs in PvE. The fact that people weren't allowed to participate in certain content because they lacked GHorn is absurd. One gun shouldn't be so much better than the rest. Also, most bosses in this game barely move so hitting crits was a piece of cake. Being able to stunlock a boss because all players have unlimited ammo with BH is stupid. Not having to reload means it will still have the best DPS out of sniper rifles but it will eventually run out of ammo. The gun changes were necessary. Making guns stronger doesn't solve the issue of people being instantly killed. The servers in this game were not meant to support such fast ttk's. This isn't supposed to be COD where everyone dies in less than a second. Gunfights should be won by the person who can maintain accuracy the longest. I am curious how the exotic HC's will work after this update. So is Hawkmoon going to have 15 rounds or what? How effective will Thorn be after the DoT is reduced and can stack? Will TLW's range actually be reduced or will it not be noticeable? How will battles between shotguns and fusion rifles play out? Bungie did a great job with this update. There are some things I wish they wouldve added but they are doing enough. Snipers should pick up way more ammo in crucible. 3 shots for my longbow is stupid. Remove the scope glint from NLB and make it so that it can headshot through an overshield.

  • Why mess with the black hammer though. Reserve rounds to 18 so we get 21 shots off? Looks like I'm sharding all my spare black hammers. Also they nerfed legendary handcannons again and seemed to have buffed thorn. Of all guns buff the thorn? It said nothing of it's great stability or range stats. Without the dot it's still one of the best low impact handcannons around. Why couldn't they just do this weapon tuning the right way and nerf the broken exotics and fix autos. They even made scouts harder to use

  • I agree that they should've massively increased BH's reserve ammo. Make it like 27 or even 30 since it will now use reserve ammo. They changed Thorn to a 3 shot kill which is the most they could've done. People would've revolted had they nerfed it into the ground. They are making HC's reward accuracy versus fire rate. Buffing autos wouldn't have made Thorn any less effective. Thorn and TLW would still have the fastest ttk's which means autos still couldn't compete with them.

  • The thorn will probably still be a 3 shot body shot. Handcannons are supposed to be high risk high reward not this spam shooter than kills too fast. I'm only guessing but it seems this stacking dot will retain it's 3 body shot kill time

  • Ya the three shot to kill I think will stay the same. It isn't a huge change but at least they did something. With the DoT being adjusted I would've toned back it's RoF. Put it in the same class as the Fatebringer and Red Hand, not with the Up the Ante and TDYD.
