The Crusaders hold off their attacks for 3 or 4 days before suspicious residents discover that the day the attack stopped was the 3-year anniversary of the 3-month-long Scourging of Perth.

Mate. I don't speak for Distance, but I don't know if he's gonna consider this canon. He's faraway right now, so the story is kind of in limbo. I doubt that he'd like anything taking over his thread while he's gone. Just saying.
-
Nothing's happening though. My forces are basically taking a holiday.
-
"Three month scourge" Did this happen whilst he was here, or in his absence?
-
You don't remember the Scourging? The big giant nuclear war by Outlaw and the Ignus that laid the thread to waste?
-
That's what my army's commemorating. They lost a lot of people, and these Monarchy transplants don't remember because they weren't here.
-
Oooooohhh. I dunno if that lasted months. I should really check in with 'em for canonical time periods.
-
Yeah. My army's taking 3 months of mourning leave because of it. It'd be blasphemy to fight on days when so many died.
-
Yeah... I died at the end of that. Left bnet for a while after the death. Ah, memories.
-
Well, my forces jumped from thread to thread, and then we came back here (technically our home) and got told to bend our knees to not only a queen who left my characters (her former ARMY) in the lurch, but was also serving the current govt. the whole time. Thusly, we started a war in memoriam of the people the current monarchy left to die.
