I feel like people have this nostalgia that is interfering with their logic when it comes to Halo. The games campaign was short, 9 levels, and nobody really played for that, you played for PvP. They released DLC's with 3 PvP maps for $10 on the thing. The game was fun, and this isn't me defending Destiny, but it seems like a very bias look back.

  • I'll let the video speak for itself. Halo: Combat Evolved, was a game centered around the story. Each mission and everything you are doing/seeing in the game is telling a tale. Memorable characters are introduced and express great personalities that gets you attached to them. You actually feel driven to rescue the Captain, and every other aspect presented enhances the overall experience and easily ties into the next game. And this was just the first major release for Bungie, this is when Bungie's games began to show these high levels of quality and storytelling. Its not that we're bias, not in the least. We just know what Bungie is capable of doing. And Destiny doesn't come close to what it COULD have been.
