  • We could. I think it's cute you drink maple syrup. We could turn Canada into dust if we wanted to. Plus there is one thing you can't deny that makes Canada the worst.... They created Justin Bieber. You can't deny that.

  • You can't nuke any of the major cities in Canada with out at least some of the fallout hitting a few cities in northern US.

  • Well that depends if we time it correct with the wind patterns then we could minimize fallout and possibly just hit the edges of the northern states and it should be gone within a year or two. Or we could napalm and bomb the edges of Canada. So the worst out come would probably be Alaska getting hit with a little fallout.

  • They created beiber... They? And by the way, first off we are allies, your biggest source of trade, and plenty of other things. You saying just nuke everything shows you aren't intelligent enough to be taken seriously.

I didn't realize you weren't joking. Wow. If you've been serious about this stuff I really feel Bad for you, because you know nothing about everyday life. Plus Even though Canada is our number one trading partner, it is not as crucial as china. If we lost Canada we would lose exports but if we lost china we would lose imports. Even though at first it would seem the exports are more important, if we lost imports we would lose crucial abilities. Both would hurt the us but China would be worse. Also, it depends on what we are exporting and importing. China is more crucial due to what they export and important

  • Actually the U.S. Imports loads of Canadian resources. Oil, natural gas, electricity, lumber and water. I'd say those things are more important than cheap plastic toys

  • Even though China does make toys . They also make crucial electronics for factory machines and electronics. Since the US is so relied on electronics, it would be devastating. The US can make electricity and we can get oil from the Middle East. The US can live without Canada but without china everything will fall apart. In addition Canada provides things that the us can get from other countries easily. We just use Canada because it is easier to get the products because they are closer. We could live without Canada but we can't live without other crucial countries

  • I can't refute the electronics part haha, but I don't think that relying solely on the Middle East for oil is a viable option. I don't deny that the U.S. Could survive without Canada, but I think that whimsically dismissing the things it does ship there is a mistake. 37% of the oil used in the U.S. Comes from Canada. The Middle East on the other hand comes in just under 20%. The cost of importing overseas is exponentially higher than simply piping it by the millions of m^3 over the border. You're also using a lot of Canadian oil to manufacture the electricity you have as well. Perhaps you'd survive without Canada, but prices on everything from gasoline, diesel fuel, propane and your monthly electric bill would increase tenfold.

  • I know that, but I am just saying how we could survive if we destroyed Canada. But if we did, it would allow the US to grow more independent, because we would have to increase the coal industry, which could increase labor, which would help the economy. It would be wise if the US grew more independent. But if we destroyed Canada or got into a war with Canada it has the chance to improve the US, because war brings people together and it creates jobs. But in the end it is a bad idea for any country to be destroyed.

  • Ah I see where you're going with it haha. The only thing would be the repercussions from the rest of the world. Even groups who weren't allied with Canada would use it as an excuse to attack the U.S. As great as your military is, it can't stand up to possibly every country in the world. Even Antarctica would send elite tactical penguins. Plus if somehow you survived and just nuked everyone and were able to contain the fallout or move to the moon, we've slowly been upping the dosage of a lethal biological agent in our coveted maple syrup. If anyone goes too long without having it, they'll begin spouting nonsense about moose, saying abooot, eh and eventually fall over and die in the most horrific fashion, their bodies decomposing into maple leaves in memory of us.
