Someone Australian brought up something about a drop bear so I searched and found this article. Still curious if it's a real animal lmao. Is it?

They're a serious problem here. They mainly attack tourists for some reason, which is why tourism has dropped significantly since they were introduced to Australia in the early 1900's.
-
Lmfao it's a funny coincidence that they attack tourists. Perhaps because they don't know to look up or listen for their distinct "oogity boogity" call
-
Precisely. See, we've grown up with them, and all the precautions we need to exercise in order to avoid attacks. We have the training ingrained into our natural instincts. Tourists don't. They're far too concerned with taking pictures and wearing awful "holiday clothes" to notice the furry bundle of death plummeting down upon their heads. Ever hear in the news about a foreign tourist going "missing" in the Australian outback without a trace? Drop bears leave nothing behind...

Edited by NoNameLikeIt: 7/16/2015 1:16:39 AMAre you serious? At one point it mentions being foiled by meddling kids and their loveable dog. Oh and one of the pictures is a god damn horse.

Lol no not the article. I know that's fake that's why it's so funny but is a drop bear a real thing
-
I highly doubt it as everything about them seems fake AF
-
Trust me, they're not fake.
