If you're happy with Microsoft and you already have friends on Xbone you'd be as well going with that. Also if you're into the whole backwards compatability thing you'll be able to play some of your old games. Personally I switched and went for the PS4 when it came time to upgrade from the old 360. That was more due to a growing hatred for Microsoft as a company though. Can't say I've regretted it, the PS4 is great but in reality there's very little difference between it and the Xbone
