In Star Wars Battlefront, why does a trash can give us ammo, yet in the movies we see it rolling around in Watto's junk shop?
Is this just a mess up, or is that an ammo droid for the clone army?
Worth noting that in the game both sides have the same trash can to get ammo from.

Gonk droids (as they are known) are actually just mobile power droids (basically a battery). The use of them in battlefront really does not make sense unless you think of it as "recharging" your weapons. To the poster who said they actually have trash, you're wrong.

It's worth noting that the game wasn't canonical in several aspects, and was kind of arcadey.

Gonk Droids actually hold supplies as well as trash. So it makes sense that you could place munitions in them.

Then dig around in the trash for blaster ammo and rockets? Naw dog. No way troops have to do that... ....oh wait, yes they do.

Or there could be no trash in them to begin with? Just because you can use a box to hold trash doesn't mean you can't use a box to hold weapons.
