Halo sucked lol over 60 million Halo sales disagrees with you. Halo is a masterpiece for the ages. But everyone's entitled to their opinion you good little pony lol.

It sold so many because it's all Xbox has had and touts for over a decade. As a completely objective person, halo was average. I played them all and the only one I'd rate above average is 2. The series as a whole is nothing to write home about, but you're right to each their own.
