Cod has amazing gunplay and immersive gameplay lmao. Have you ever played battlefield? Cod is nothing like no simulation. The guns barely have recoil. Cod+rocket launcher= black spot on the wall. Bf+rocket launcher = hole in the wall. Do the snipers even have bullet drop?

Most do I believe

Sorry man that was a rhetorical question. I know cod doesnt have bullet drop. Most people who play more then 1 fps (cough cough cod cough) know cod is really more of an arcade then a simulation.
-
I was actually agreeing with your post until you said most snipers bullet drop. NOT ONE sniper in all of call of duty has even claimed to drop. I don't know what you're smoking but I want it.
-
Not necessarily drop but the bullet at least has range on it. Realistically in CoD's small arenas the snipers would not drop at all.

Battlefield is a war simulator, way more complete and those huge maps, I think bf and cod are not even in the same league, I'm a bf3 and bf4 veteran, the last cod game I took seriously was bo1, it was a great game

CoD is more of a fast-paced, arena style shooter. Battlefield is more of a war simulator (still not very realistic though). The maps in CoD are to small for either of those things. If bullets dropped they wouldn't drop before making it to the other side of maps. If you could destroy buildings, it would add an element to maps that you don't need on a map that small.

So are we gonna pretend that cod doesn't have big maps maybe not real big but big none the less. Also are you assuming bf does not have fast pace action and small maps cause it has both of does things you speak of. Not to mention I was addressing points the OP was making saying cod is a simulation which is why I said bullet drop.

Right, both of those things are not needed in cod. I hate when people try to compare cod a battlefield they are two completely different beasts. Cod is a fast paced arena arcadey twitch shooter that focuses on small scale combat. Battlefield on the other hand is a large scale (by comparison) slower paced military "simulator" (definitely not realist but it's as realistic as it needs to be) that uses more people and more weapons, vehicles(not more vehicles but you get the idea), and more realism such as bullet drop (not very realistic bullet drop) and destruction (wherever the devs want it). Overall though they are two great games for many different but shouldn't be compared to each other because they aren't even close enough to being the same game.
