Split workload between CPU and GPU 4K video In other words, a 10 to 20% increase in power, suddenly the shortcomings of the so called PS4 "better graphics" becomes very apparent and the GAP, however miniscule it was anyways, is closed if not, overlapped. Microsoft may be bad at PR sometimes, but when engineering hardware and software, its designed for upgrade paths down the road, increasing longevity. That is why I laugh at all the Sony fanboys who praise a bettee console graphically, you...cheer and dance over...crumbs. pitiful. In the end though, PC master race.

  • Vulkan is going to do the same for ps as dx12 will do for xbox. You are throwing the word ignorant around a lot but your comment here really shows that you are quite ignorant yourself.

If you actually read the thread instead of sticking you're nose in other peoples conversations, then you would see that I called a troll ignorant and not to the above post involving our discussion, if any, about DX12. Vulcan is not nearly as streamline, to be honest, its not even on the same level as a proven API.

    I did read this thread, that's how I know you have been throwing the word ignorant around. No you are definitely the ignorant one, talking up how dx12 will close the gap to or even surpass the ps4 blissfully unaware of the fact that ps4 will receive a streamlined and upgraded API as well. btw vulkan is the next open gl.....You know, a proven API.

Yes, give me the link that says Sony will adopt Vulkan, you WONT, you'll probably come across a bunch of, "Sony [i]should[/i] adopt vulkan..." Yeah get you're facts straights, sonys low level APIs are the best its going to get, nothing will change out that GNM. Xbox Ones system was designed soley to take advantaged of DX12, streamlind distinctly for any and all Winsys. Seriously, DX12 output is slightly over Vulkan, the only true difference being is Vulkan is cross platform, perfect for all the linux pc crybabies who get mad over DX12 being a Windows thing.

Don't get mad bro, we both are going to get some great looking games, holiday 2015 is going to be epic on both sides of the fence, so we should rejoice as console gamers. I'm excited indie titles of all things, not exactly performing at the max, but creativity is key, Cuphead for us for example is going to be really fun, as well as that dream painting game for PS4, its all going to be fun. With respect, if you really read this particular post and its responses, the ignorance applied to the one poster bragging about Hawkmoon, when told it was coming to X1, he trolled the facted that we didnt have it NOW an continued to troll. As fof the second discussion with a respondee saying DX12 will not do anything, I simply told him it will and in no way did I mention Ignorance in any of my responses geared toward him, till you came in and we had our lil...jive.
