So, it has been a LONG time since bungie has addressed the weapons in destiny which is very bad because pvp is now just hand cannons. This is just frustrating to fight because you die in less than a second and I know you guys are tired of saying "Oh great, your setup is Thorn/The Last Word, Matador/Felwinter's Lie, and a rocket launcher with Grenades and Horseshoes." I know I'm sick of just seeing this setup in literally ALL Crucible activities, I'm looking at you Trials of Osiris. So, I would like to hear your own opinions on the matter, I personally wouldn't mind seeing thorn go on a vacation just like Suros Regime is right now. I want you Fruits to pick a poll, say what you picked, and why? Till next time...

  • I'm anti nerf. I think it causes an unending back and forth of weapons. Fine tune a weapon, extensively test it before releasing the patch. Thorn is fine, I say this because it can be countered consistently just not with a wide enough array of weapons. Hard hitting, high rate of fire weapons are the thorns Achilles heal. What weapon group does that sound like? AR's. What are basically unusable in any game mode? AR's. I believe if all weapons stay where they are with the exception to scout rifles and auto rifles (need buffed) then the game will be oh so close to being balanced. The next step would be to add more weapons that have a burn(d.o.t.) effect. Add enemies that utilize such an effect in pve, then create armor perks that combat said effect. Such as "Getting a kill while burning reverses the burn and heals you" or "burn effects cause slightly less damage to you" or maybe even "take more damage from burn, but drastically increase damage output for the duration of the burn" those types of things, I think would add an interesting element in regards to elemental burns for pve and fix the main announce of thorn and warlocks.
