I'd say xbox one. Your characters transfer over plus you don't have to pay for another subscription since you'd already have xbox live. And yes the visuals are technically better on ps4 but they aren't by much. You'd need a magnifying glass and be viewing games side by side to actually see the difference. However, if you'd like a change of things go with ps4. But tbh, once again I'd say just go xbox. Oh and congrats.
