Hey man me and all the guys I play with made the change from Xbox 360 to Ps4 before Destiny was released. The PS4 has it good sides and it's bad. The PS4 is a causal gamers console which is nice as you don't have as many hot headed people and most of the people I have made friends with are just here to have fun. Meanwhile it you are a competitive player you might want to stay on with you xbox because you will be playing with like minded people. Also every time PSN bring out an update it stuffs the destiny serves for some reason which is annoying.
But it comes down to this also the PS4 has sold more then the xbox one. So in my opinion in the future the PS4 will have more games made for it, But Xbone has backwards compatible so it all depends if you want to start again or not.

This will change. And you can already see the tides changing. With Playstation really stepping up their game this generation ps4 is adopting a more competitive community. I honestly don't see a difference anymore between communities as I play both. Playstation has traditionally been a RPG console but with playstation pulling Activision a major competitive game company and playstation seeing the money made from it. You will see a huge change coming.
