I made a post along these lines recently, though it didnt recieve much attention. My suspicion is that bungie ninja increased the Gjallarhorn drop rate in the background within the last month or two. It seems like there was a sudden increase in posts by people who had finally recieved it. I myself recieved my first one about a month ago and my friend got his just a couple days ago. I have also seen a few drop during various gaming sessions recently. Nothing certain, just kinda suspicious.

If you look at it from a mathematical standpoint it's easy to understand why more people seem to have gotten it. Several factors that include: - More new players, therefore more people who have a chance of getting it. -The guaranteed exotic from PoE chest the first time you run it. -And simply having so many people play for so long, it's just a coincidence so many people got it at the same time. It's just because the more you play, the higher your chances and by this point, those who have played since the start, have amassed their chances. Bungie didn't buff anything. Chances were just made higher through different circumstances.
