I think etheric light should be tough to get... To give something to play for for end game players. It's easy to reach the mark cap every week, but takes some grinding. I would rather be rewarded for completing a challenge like Skolas rather than grinding dragon strikes for several hours. Right now this essentially does happen every 4 weeks when iron banner comes around. As long as you can hold your own in control you can usually grind it out and get the etheric. So, you already have 6 easy ones per month. Then, a couple more will likely drop on Nightfalls and I've had one drop from a Variks package. Sooner or later etheric light will go the way of the strange coin and exotic shard... Everyone will have plenty and the speaker will trade for it. For now it still gives us something to play for. So, kudos for a decent idea but my opinion is that it would make it too easy to get. I would like to use those 200 marks to buy 200 weapon parts instead... Cheers! PD
