It's pretty similar. You like sports so you watch the sports channel. People like video games so they watch people play video games. The only difference is the physical activity.

My point is... I watch others playing a game I may like whenever I'm in a situation (at work, on train, etc.) where I can't play myself. I play tennis, but when I can't get out to the court to play, I watch it on TV. That was my point. I agree, these guys (Broman & Goth) are more entertainers than athletes, so I apologize if it seem like I was even remotely trying to compare them to such, as these guys are far, far from that... they're just comic relief.

Use that time to focus on something else, or to allow your mind to wander.

As I meditate daily when at the Dojo and pretty much am focusing on enough things (work, family, teaching, training) on most days. Watching and playing video games is one of the many things that I do to give myself some mental relaxation as well mental stimulation. Thanks for the advice though.
