To each their own. If you never played Halo I can't really argue you on any of that. Although, if you didn't play the games, you can't really judge it, either. As far as what I've played and what I can compare games like Halo and Destiny to... [Shooters] -Phantasy Star Online (And all its incarnations) -Gears of War -Medal of Honor -James Bond: Golden Eye -Perfect Dark -Planetside 2 -Project Blackout -Blacklight Retribution -Fallout -Time Crisis -Crysis 2-3 -Battlefield 4 -Star Wars Battlefront (The PS2 games) -Armored Core (From the very first game in the series on original PlayStation up to AC4) -MechWarrior (PC) -Front Mission Evolved I count the last three despite them being mech based games. There are others as well, obviously, just can't remember all the names. [RPGs] -Elder Scrolls (Including ESO) -Phantasy Star (Cause that series accomplished what Destiny tried to do YEARS before now...) -Mabinogi -TERA Online -EverQuest -Dragon Age -Mass Effect -The Witcher -Star Ocean -Wild ARMs -Seiken Densetsu (Secret/Legend of Mana) -Final Fantasy -Kingdom Hearts -Fable -Dark Cloud -Legend of Dragoon -The Summoner -Jade Cacoon -Xenogears/Xenosaga (Always differentiate the two) Again, its another one of those lists that could easily just keep going. But yeah, no, I think I've played enough Shooters and RPGs (MMORPGs as well) to be a good judge of games like Halo and Destiny.
