I never played Halo, but you assume I don't know what you went through. It's true, I wasn't there to experience it, but I studied Halo, some of my fanboy friends taught me everything they new about it.
But my friend, James Clift, I showed you respect for being a Spartan, and I will not retract that respect. I still look up to you and honor you, I only hope that you give me credit for at least that.

The respect you give any Spartan is acknowledged! Yet for those out there trying to label themselves as "Destiny Spartans"... That's where it becomes offensive. Just because Bungie created the one and only game that turned players into true Spartans, DOES NOT give players of Destiny the right to compare, and call themselves "Spartans". (A fair comparison: Someone calling themselves an emergency room Dr., because they watch the tv show ER!) Yes, we Spartans appreciate the respect you give... But just because you've played a Bungie game doesn't make you a Spartan. Destiny players may be "Guardians", but we Spartans are now "Guardian Spartans"! Peace to you, and keep up the eternal repeating grind to save the Galaxy.

Dear Sir, I do not call myself a Spartan. I am a Guardian, plain and simple. You are a Spartan, plain and simple. We are different, we are not equals, but we do both play Bungie games. We are Bungie's children, and the Spartans are the Guardian's older Brothers and Sisters. You have more experience, and have played through a good franchise while us Guardians wait for Destiny to become as good as Halo. In the meantime, that is our relationship.
