If you thought this game was a failure, you wouldn't have played for as long as you did. Either you have a very poor taste in games, or this game wasn't a failure, and you played it because it's fun. Failed games don't get the highest view count for a game reveal on Twitch. Failed games don't get to come back to E3 to reveal their latest expansion. Failed games don't raise over $1,000,000 for Direct Relief in Nepal. While you and your "Spartans" mourn over your fallen developer, the "Guardians" are going to keep playing Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris, and come September, we're going to play The Taken King, and we're going to have fun with it. Maybe you'll come back to it, you're more than welcome to. I won't put the game on a pedestal and say that it's the gold standard for games. Far from it, the way Activision is forcing Bungie to sell this game in chunks is astoundingly anti-consumer, and I know it's not Bungie who decided to do this. But I play Destiny because it's fun, and that's reason enough. Can't argue with fun, and no reviewer is going to make that decision for me, especially one that can't use his inside voice.
