Or they lost the desire to do so. Its possible Activision destroyed so much of the game that the stuff just doesn't see the point and instead does the minimal amount of effort. And then show for "Team Building" days where they use the money from Activision to pay for food, drinks and play games at the office. Actually rather pissed off about that, honestly.
