In another life I was a member of Noble team. I fought alongside my fellow Spartans and watched as they fell, one by one. When faced with the option to abandon Reach, I turned it down. No retreat, no surrender. And I fought the Warriors of the covenant until I breathed my last. And now here I am. Another life, another fight. This one not so glorious as the last. We call ourselves guardians and warlocks and titans and hunters. We fight, we die, we live again. We kill the same enemies a thousand times only to have them reappear. Are we in hell? Is this the afterlife that we Spartans talked about amongst ourselves? I long to be reunited with my brothers and sister of Noble team. But I cannot escape this reality. So I shall fight on. I shall upgrade my armor and weapons. And I shall answer the call as only a Spartan can. To arms Spartans! To arms!
