You know, I've been thinking about that too. Even if Sony and Activision have made some sort of deal, nothing is actually stopping Bungie from putting out exclusive content for Xbox players on their own. If you get right down to it, why couldn't they do like a Master Chief style Legendary Helmet for people? Or anything, really.
Bare in mind, the point of this thread is not specifically about one thing in general, but a comparison that we know what Bungie is capable of and after reflecting on Destiny, we clearly see that it is not anything close to the sheer level of badass that the company was legendary for with the Halo series. And its BECAUSE of Halo that we know for a fact that they can do some pretty ridiculous, epic shit. So you gotta ask, was their heart really in this?
I feel like something is just wrong here. I mean, there's PLENTY wrong, but the game itself is so clumsy. I can't tell if they are fully sure what it is they are trying to make. They want a story that is told over 10 years? This feels more like DBZ where it takes a year just to see Goku pop out of the restoration machine so he can finally fight Freeza, but then waiting another year before any action actually happens.
