I'm sure if goku kamehameha'd the entire moon/area of crota end they would be gone. They can only kill crota with his stuff because they have nothing stronger, ie guns and space magic that can only kill a couple of enemies at once. I'm sure they'd be able to blast the universe and catch oryx in it too.

But crota isn't on the moon so that wouldn't work, he is on luna which is essentially his own dimension or if you prefer his own version of the moon

You obviously don't know the lore as well as you say then, in his normal form Crota is invincible, the guardians were able to kill him because we destroyed his soul in one of the missions therefore making him vulnerable to his sword and his sword alone, doesn't matter if you destroy that entire dimension, Crota would still live on and without killing Crota gold and vegeta are not able to get out thus making them lose against the destiny universe

Plus if he's innincible how did he get put into the state that he is currently in? As in him needing revival.

By destroying his soul in the awakening mission from the dark below dlc we crippled him

No that's not what I meant. That soul in the crystal is the hive trying to revive crota and bring him out of wherever the raid takes place. He had an original form where he could roam freely as oryx does.

So your saying they couldnt blast the universe, which would kill his soul crystal and the sword bearer, bkast him too to make him kneel, pickup they sword, instant transmission to him and probably smack him once since they're so strong.
