Saw the grimoire and knew I had to get it to commemorate the guardians who fell at the twilight gap. Sat in my vault until December. Still best purchase cause I haven't seen one drop for myself. So yeah if you didn't buy it, you didn't earn it. Those weekly strikes took two hours each. At level 24 a level 26 strike and later week 2 at level 26 a level 28 strike took forever. I'd say I earned it. Let's see where those coins came from. 1 from mission 6 from weekly week 1 to equal 7 and then 1 from engram equals 8 and 9 from weekly 28. So yeah go and get it from RNG scrub. Not picked out of a hat.
