The biggest flaw with arguments like that is:
If Oryx/Atheon/The Vex/Crota could just Insta-kill, why haven't they done so to the Guardians yet?
And Goku and Vegeta have both stomped beings capable of destroying planets/solar systems/galaxies by simply pointing their finger at them. Frieza and Broly, as examples of this. The Cabal would be nothing to them; a single Kamehameha or Final Flash would destroy any battle group the Cabal throws at the two.
And Vegeta and Goku would easily two-man the Vault. If a lone Titan can go through it, two Saiyans capable of turning into gods can do it with ease.

I don't see how Phobos is a problem to the two. They honestly wouldn't care if it dropped onto a planet inhabited purely by evil alien armies. Hell, Vegeta would probably throw Phobos at Mars just to rack up kills.
