Destiny is based around a addictive rng model. Thats the single reason I believe people "myself included" are still playing this game. I can't let a week pass were I don't at least play the nightfall. The gameplay was great, but has honestly gotten stale. But, the prospect of reward no matter how mediocre, is addictive.
