"Too dim to waste my time on" and you respond with a list of I don't even know lol. How am I the one wasting your time if you just made a list about me. I wouldn't expect anything better though from a person who thinks the DLCs were worth the money

And with that you just proved all 3 reasons, muted
-
You didn't mute shit.
-
Geez, that was a long response time
-
Yep I stopped playing Destiny all together because I bought a new game to play in my free time so I forgot about the taken cash...I mean king.

Edited by TheOxymoron431: 7/13/2015 2:53:18 AMLike I said, value is all a matter of opinion
-
Except when the vast majority of people who's jobs it is to review games say that the game is extremely average if not bad for various reasons all relating to either a lack of content or money grabbing... the game has so many children playing it who don't work who don't know the meaning of value let alone the dollar! Mummy and daddy buy them things to shut them up so they are complacent with whatever game they are playing even if it's shit, it's not their fault they are just young and don't know any better. Not a single one of my mates think TTK is priced appropriately or think destiny is that great even though they have been playing it. "It's about value, the players perception of value" You're one of the people who think $20 for shaders and class items is good 'value' too I bet.
-
Personally, I don't trust reviews. I prefer making my own opinions on a game. On a related note, they're still making reviews based on their opinions on the game. As for the only kids are playing comment, I'm not sure who all you play with, but I'm fairly certain there are plenty of people who are older. You and your friends don't think it's of value. That's cool. My friends and I think it is worth it. It's all about your opinions and feelings on the matter. Also, while I personally think that $20 is much for the collectors items, I also don't know what the items are and I also realize that they were never supposed to be sold in the first place. They were supposed to stay exclusive to the bundle, but everyone wanted to throw money at the items anyway (just like Luke smith said), so they made the items a separate option.
-
Yes they will throw their money away because of people like you who actually think the game is good - this isn't meant to be insulting lol it's the cold hard truth - IF you really honestly enjoy the game that's great! Yes it's their professional opinion - it's not some kid (not you) on the interwebs saying "omg lyk destini is ta bestest"...I really want destiny to be better and it looks like it's heading down the right path to do that but I don't like being screwed over again and again and again. I love luke smith's comment, because he laughed at the whole player base by saying that *side note* he probably meant it actually in a totally joking way - problem is that joke is then formed out of his idea of the game the players and the industry *back to what I was going to say* his comment was awesome because if i was activision I would know this actually happens and you would fill my pockets. Did you see the articles of "Destiny apologises to it's fans by...selling them stuff" ?? That was not at all how one apologises ha - they just had a lightbulb moment and thought "smith is right, these idiots bought a game that is so content-lite that it's not funny, there is a 'outrage' of people wanting this so lets sell it because supertitan64xxX said "give us the option to buy it" ". I for one would like them to increase the price just so I can stop playing because this year there actually is heaps of competition out there and a slew of new games and I like when ignorant people get taken advantage of because it's what they deserve.
-
Well you didn't need to go on a speech about how true smith was. I agreed with you. But it wasn't bungie that had the idea to make the separate item pack, it was everyone on the forums who wanted to buy it. They made the option to buy them separately and bungie listened to them. On a separate note, I'm curious, how much time did you spend on the game
-
450hours all up and NO most of them were not enjoyable. No I wanted to smith is right a big bunch of people here are desticles and I want them to shaft them out of even more money for the Lols they will charge $100 for an expansion and people be like - that's not so bad bahahah
-
Why would you spend 450 hours on a game you didn't enjoy playing
-
When I typed that reply out I actually explained why there was that many hours and also why hours played means nothing in regards to how good a game is. But I actually removed it to test out your critical thinking to see if you could think of the why in regards to the what....but critical thinkers are in short supply on the forum.
-
How would I know why you kept playing a game you didn't like playing for hours and hours. I don't know you, I don't know why you do anything. Judging by are opinions on the matter, I'd guess were damn near opposites of each other in this topic, so why would I know how you think. Would you know why I keep playing destiny? (I'd imagine you'd go with the obvious answer of: I enjoy it)
-
If you thought about how the game is structured you would be able to work out a big part of my play time. Pro tip: it's a reason why we all play (played) the game for so many hours.
-
No, I don't get it. If I didn't like the game, I would've stopped after the first raid
-
If you can't work out what I mean you have no right to defend this game. #truth
-
If you kept playing the game while barely enjoying it the entire time, you have no right to attack this game
-
Haha I honestly feel bad for people who lack insight or understanding on when they are being taken for a ride...but then it does make me feel even note awesome than usual haha
-
Whatever, literally everything we say is wasted on each other. We have completely opposite points of view. I'm done here
-
No the community is 'done' with this game till some big changes happen, without the 60% of the community buying into this shit you don't have a game to play, so you best wisen up and realise that there are HUGE glaring issues with this game and that charging a reasonable price for it would be the right thing to do as a start.
-
Again, opposite viewpoints
-
I don't understand how I did 2 or 3 with that statement but it's funny how you already don't have the balls to continue lol. I win
