Free Warframe update adds emotes, Destiny jab

http://www.lazygamer.net/dlc/free-warframe-update-adds-emotes-destiny-jab/ wow everyone keeps taking a jab at Bungie! Ha-Ha-Ha!! this stuff is going down in gaming History! Wait, you didn't post the best part of the article: "Warframe is often referred to as a better (and free) version of Destiny..." The relays when the Void Trader stops by is so funny; its jam packed with players (unlike, well, anything in Destiny). I like how Destiny gets all excited when they're like "hey, we finally fixed that glitch from 6 months back" and Warframe is going "Here's our latest event this month, brand new areas, weapons, Warframes, all for free and 5 pages of fixes, tweaks, additions and bug fixes". Anyone see the Kotaku "interview"? (http://kotaku.com/bungie-answers-and-avoids-our-questions-on-the-future-1714199504) Kotaku: We'd like to talk about Destiny. Luke Smith: We're not talking about that, thanks for the interview. LOL

 • This is true. However, All of Warframe's updates, and add-ons are free. DE has expressed before their desire to continue to support and add content to their game, free of charge. While their game relies on micro-transactions, they provide players lots of opportunities to earn in-game cash without opening their own wallets, and don't lock any new content off behind paywalls. DE's business model seems to encourage players to buy in-game currency, not to get exclusive gear or perks, but because they enjoy the game.
