The Taken King Breakdown- Update 2 released.

So. Let me get this straight. $40 for The Taken King. No extras. $60 for all 3 expansions: The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King. No extras. $80 (digital) for all 3 expansions. TDB, HOW, TTK. Plus 9 extra exclusive content item $80 (physical) *stated items for digital* plus a slew of physical items and extra Intel by Cyade-6. But in game, there will be a $20 separate download where you can get these 'exclusive 9 items'. So if you want these extra 9 items, which is 3 exotic class items, 3 armor shaders, and 3 dancing emotes..... $40 goes up to $60. And $60 goes up to $80. $80 stays the same. Wow. And people think this is an improvement? I guess it is, in a way. Now it's being offered to be sold separately, at all. But at a gouged price. If it was $5-$10 extra bucks, I could see it being worth it. But the price of a previous expansion for 9 items? Still seems like a dick move. I was hoping they would cut the price of the separate offer a bit, or add some extra content to it, to make the purchase worth it. I don't expect to get it for free. I don't. It just seems to me that it's a steep price for the content offered. It seems like a cloak and dagger move. Wanting to get the extra content you would have been no better off getting the orginal $60 package. You would just get the other 2 expansions with it again :/ "So people are pissed the $60 package comes with extra stuff, so lets remove it from the $60 edition, offer it as a separate download for $20 on both the $40 and the $60 editions. That way $40 suckers will pay $60 for just TTK and 9 items, and $60 suckers will pay $80 for 3 expansions and 9 extra items."
