The legendaries that drop usually have different perks than the ones sold by vendors. Of course, now that we have reforging this isn't a factor anymore. But that was why it used to be good when you saw a legendary drop.
Besides, if they take out legendaries, what else can drop? Are you actually saying you want the Nightfall to be a guaranteed exotic drop???

Actually this is what I want to drop: - Nightfall Exclusive drops, as in you can only get it in a nightfall and it helps while in a nightfall. - Strange coins - Etheric Light - Random Exotic that is all, now if they don't want to make the number one on my list then I would just settle for not getting 3 freaking worthless legendries

Of course, the real reason for doing the Nightfall is the Radiant Light bonus so you get 25% more XP and reputation points for the week. But nobody remembers that.

Then don't do them. I don't know what else to tell you. Everybody knows by now that RNG is a fickle bitch. If you go into a Nightfall hoping for an exotic you don't already have, 99% of the time you're going to be disappointed. And if you're too busy to really make use of the Radiant Light bonus, the Nightfall is not really worth your time.

I shouldn't have to, they should add new content...why is that such an issue for you? No more faction gear from nightfalls and new gear from nightfalls, there isn't anything lost, just more gear to use.
