Emotes? Let me bind synth to D-Pad.

So whilst this storm is raging I thought I'd express one of my main frustrations with the gameplay as a consistent Raid/PoE player. With TTK and the talk of custom actions I'd really like to understand why people feel they're important to the game? I personally couldn't care less about sitting, pointing or dancing. What I would like however is the opportunity to use that space on my controller for something useful! Please allow us to customise the use of the d-pad and bind other functionality to each direction. I've been killed raiding or doing PoE 35 popping a heavy synth too many times and the result of this can mean your raid squad dropping a flawless, or wiping 15+ minutes of play time (per player!). If I could bind a heavy, special, primary synth and specify another gun in a slot (to change burns) I'd be all over it. Unsure if this has been suggested before and what the response was, but I'd love to understand why that isn't possible. Cheers

  • It be much better if it was just "Hold reload while out of ammo" Want to use a Heavy synth? Hold out your empty heavy weapon and hold the reload button. That way we can keep emotes AND have a way to not have to pause to get our synths. OR Pull out ghost and and have more stuff binded there. Hold ___ to use Synth on held weapon. Or use the Up and Down D-pad too cycle through consumables and Hold ____ to use. Stuff like that. I personally use the Emotes to communicate with even friends because during the week as I can't talk late at night without disturbing my girlfriend.
