The cancer that is called "past-gen"
So as we know, past-gen consoles such as the 360 and PS3 have to be up-to-date with the current-gen consoles. Why are they considered cancer? Well let me tell ya.
Past gen console users are the reason why we don't have bigger vaults to put our extra weapons, they are the reason why we can't have more then three people in a patrol, and they are also the reason why baby's are born with Down's syndrome.
Those are just three of many reasons why we should consider past-gen users cancerous and stuff. Thank you and have a nice day c:

I agree with two out of the three statements. Pretty sure they don't cause Down syndrome. Yes I understand some people can't afford to upgrade immediately to next gen. Unfortunately what the op says is true. Since the old systems can't handle certain things game developers have a choice. They can ether remove the content from the game entirely, give it to new gen only, or do an entirely different game on the old gen. Best example of the latter would be transformers revenge of the fallen game. It released on ps2/PS3, 360. The ps2 version was vastly different from the PS3/360 version. [spoiler]to make a long story short eventually bungie will not cater to old gen when that happens all we will hear is "give us this on old gen." [/spoiler]

For fact last gen is not holding new gen back bungie made the choice to keep them even. Look at call of duty to different games from last to new battlefield same way payday 2 same way don't blam the last gens for a developer and publishers faults so before u start running what u think is a brain get some facts straight and the had to do was have Activision and them main publisher and a subcontracted publisher one controling next gen and one last gen currently advance warfare is using this system I've play on both versions and the bal-27 rifle proves my facts ps4 kicks all over the place (as of a weapon balance update) ps3 could not handle the update for the fact it has frozen the ps3 version in tests so the bal has no kick so bungie could give ps4 and Xbox one more vault space and many of other things that the 360 or ps3 could not aka ps3 vault u can not compare weapons ps4 u can

Nice. Since when the next gen version have to be the same as the past gen? - Never. Look at Battlefield 4 or Hardline for example. It could be the same with Destiny, Bungie just didn't do anything.

2 RepliesIf you actually knew anything about how these current systems work you would understand that last gen is not the reason we have smaller vaults. It is Bungie's fault due to shitty optimization and pure laziness. Have you seen GTA? That game has twice the world Destiny does with over twice as many players in it at once and rarely will you see anything even remotely resembling an error code on the last gen. Meanwhile I can hop on Destiny on my Xbox one with an open connection, great upload and download speed, and zero packet loss and still get kicked due to some random bs error code. "Shitty optimization creates shitty loading times" as our lord Yahtzee Croshaw once said, so heed it and understand how completely daft both you and your post are

3 RepliesLast Gen can handle games like Skyrim and GTA5 just fine...you can also skip cutscenes in many last gen games. Bungie is just full of shit and looking for an excuse as to why basic features and vault space can't be done.
