So much this. The guy at my local GameStop told me he plays it non stop, but it's the most returned game for the past couple weeks. He doesn't understand it.

It's the most returned because parents will buy the game for younger gamers and not realize how mature the content is. So the parents return it

That and it's an extensive story throughout the first witcher game. If you haven't played then there are loopholes and things you may not understand.

Or it could just be that people hadn't played 1 or 2 and thought they were going to love it. Learned my lesson from the first two.
