I'm 14.
I've been playing video games since i was maybe 6-7, and most games had blood in them. I'm known to be a nice person and also maintain good grades (never less than honor roll). I don't think it's video games making some children violent. I think it's the environment they grow up in that affects them.

Usually the same type of environment that allows them to play video games and watch movies not intended for them. Some people it effects more than others. But that's why there's a general age limit.
