I usually play crucible and use snipers in my special slot.
I use kontrol freeks, a long one on my aiming stick.
Also I play on a 24" monitor
-
6 or 7
-
I play on 4. I also traveled competitively for halo and cod in multiple mlg events. Destiny is a very fast game, but assuming you're using a relatively smaller screen/monitor (mlg standard is 22inch possibly 24 now) 4 is more than enough. Warm up on five using a pulse/scout rifle to warm up your shot then drop it down the next game.

This game seems ridiculously fast to me, I play on 3. It all just comes down to personal preference, really.
-
I use a 32 inch monitor and use it on ten, can't stand low sensitivity.
-
Coming from someone who has played competitive shooters on the PC and consoles over the years: The best sensitivity is the one you're most comfortable with. Find one that's right for you in the game your play. I've gamed with people who played both extremes of the spectrum competitively with great success.

Edited by doddi: 6/23/2015 10:00:19 PM6 using the standard kontrol freek ultras. use them on both sticks. i try to play on the highest possible sensitivity for myself to max potential turn speed, but 7 just seems a little to high for me to consistently control it.

Personal preference
-
I say 7
-
I play on 8
-
When sniping I use 4 or less because any higher and try sweep shots, you miss out on aim assist, the higher the sensitivity
-
3-5 is the sweet spot. Honestly high sensitivity is just bad.
-
7-9 is the sweet spot, imo.
-
2, sniper headshots for days
-
3.. Lower speeds provide more accuracy
-
I play on 7 and it seems perfect for me. I used to play on 3 but figured I would try bumping it up. Played on 10 for quite a while then worked my way back down to see where it felt the best and 7 is what I landed on. I play on a 60" TV which probably hurts my PvP I'm sure. Thinking of getting a monitor to see if it helps. I also use Kontrol freeks (orange with long one on the right and short one on the left)
-
Whatever you feel comfortable with honestly I play on 6 it's a good neutral spot. I also snipe and it's quick enough to move around with and works very well for when you feel the urge to shotgun rush.
-
I play on 7...
-
Honestly, you need to find your own sensitivity. I play at 8 and am top 3%. Others need to play at 3 or 4 but it just depends on what you're used to
-
I play on 4
-
I play on 10 and it works for me.
-
I went from playing high sensitivity in other fps because i believed it would allow me to react quicker. I lowered my sensitivity and became more accurate and still have the same reaction time
-
Edited by SpiritAbove: 6/23/2015 9:14:44 PMHonestly, and in my opinion I only believe higher sensitivity helps when making 180's to turn and shoot your enemy But I play on 4 sometimes 5 : ) none higher
-
I play on 1-4, usually. I'm a die-hard sniper and get more than half of my kills with it, even with the ammo nerf. If I miss a shot, I'm dead; that's why i need the sensitivity low, so it's more difficult to miss. I'm not an aggressive player, really, and almost no one sneaks up on me, so I don't need to worry about quick movements.

Try at 8, after some days try at 10 and stay at 10.
-
I think mines on 3. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
-
Use 1. Might not be good for you, but it will help everyone else. GG
