Right on! Why should I buy the third movie of a trilogy when I bought the first two?! Movie studios just want $$$$$$$$$$! They don't care about the fans!

That is a horrible example haha. He wasn't saying we should get Destiny 2 (equivalent of a sequel of a movie) for free since we bought Destiny 1, he is saying that we shouldn't have to pay for a movie, then get charged if we want to see scenes 11-20, scenes 21-30, scenes 31-40, etc...
