Do you know how seasons work?
-
Most season passes provide the content for the entirety of the game until there's a new one. For example Call of duty season passes last for the whole year. Borderlands also did. What other game has a season pass for 35 dollars that provides 2 mediocre expansions with barely any content? The taken king is the only expansion that seems like it would be worth 20$.
For example Call of duty season passes last for the whole year.
I bolded the answer for you. CE and HoW were a DLC season pass, and a season is a year. TTK is the first actual expansion which will have another season pass, i.e. - another two DLC's spread out over the next year. Cod doesn't have expansions, they have DLC's. I can't speak to Borderlands because I didn't play it much.

The taken king is a stand alone 39.99 dlc bruh. Your mother must have smoked that peace pipe one too many times in the hippie circle while she was pregnant with you. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Yeah, but it will have a Season Pass with it I assume. Probably another $35 though.
-
No, you can look up and see what comes with it.
-
I guess my point is that other games release more than 2 dlcs in a season. Every borderlands dlc had loads of missions, many explorable areas that actually were important and had loot, and many replayable boss fights. And their season pass was 30 dollars for 4 dlcs when the game first came out.

All Cod releases is new maps. You can't really put them on the same level as Destiny.

Yeah they're different types of games. That's why I compared it to borderlands after because they're more similar.
