Wasn't a raid supposed to come 'at a later date'?
I remember something about it in a news post, I'm not on the hate bandwagon BTW, none of it affects my day to day life, but I do remember something about it.

Your right but just because they said "at a later time" in no way indicates its free or will be before the new DLC. I think people got their hopes up and just ran with this idea that Bungie would actually have extra material just laying around to add.

They got their hopes up because of the way it was worded. They said a raid will be coming later. Not it will be in the next paid DLC. There was supposed to be a raid in HOW. When it was removed and that statement was made everyone assumed it was to fix the raid before releasing it.
