Uh that IS the TTK raid. Between TDB and HoW not once did Bungie ever mention they were going to have a raid in HoW and right before HoW was released they specifically said they were going to have a raid for "a release later this year". Anyone thinking they said they were going to release another raid before that was either misinformed or delusionally optimistic.

House of Wolves will not have a Raid activity. We didn't make this decision lightly. Our team has been humbled by the reception of Raids in Destiny and we are creating a new Raid for a release later this year. House of Wolves will have a new cooperative end game activity focused on variety, replayability, and skill – a new battle Arena called The Prison of Elders. While they could easily spin it to say they meant TTK's Raid, the general gist of it was that they were making another one because of the lack of a Raid in HoW.

There is nothing in what they said to justify that reasoning. What you and others did was infer something that was never expressly said or even hinted at, but something of your own wishes based on one partially vague sentence. They say "a release later this year". The only ever mentioned or scheduled release this year after HoW has been TTK (formerly speculated as Comet). Had there been ANY plan whatsoever to release a raid prior to TTK they would have already hinted or outright said so before the TTK announcement. The raid we will get is with TTK, as expected and promised. The only other possibility is an extra raid to come AFTER TTK. But as before, you people shouldn't get your hopes up by expecting or inferring things until something official is said.
