Games depreciate over time, like buying a cellphone a year ago and seeing it half price this year, it's now an old model and has less demand. I don't understand why people feel like they are being -blam!-ed over by bungie when they are just doing a natural business practise that every company in the world does. It's no different from anything else, all games value goes down over time. You paid for content when it was new and in demand and are now complaining that people are getting content that is old but they should pay the "new" price for it? How does that make sense?

Can't really argue depreciation if they're still Destiny vanilla for 50 dollars.
-
In a way I agree but then again not all games depreciate in value after a few years. Some games keep their base price for years because they still sell well. Just really depends on how good or bad the game is over time.

For heaven's sake. My post is not complaining how the noobs can get all of it for cheaper. My post is why is it $40 dollars for the vets? Why is it not a 'Bonus' item for us, or at the very least $15 as a loyalty reward program?
-
In all honesty I think $40 is bull, $20 is what it should be and the little expansions like house of wolves should be $10 but that would be in a perfect world. It's a bit of a money grab and a little unfair to us but oh well, nothing really to complain about. It doesn't make sense that TTK is $40, that mean the original game plus the expansions are now worth $20? Including the HoW which just came out, my original statement is still true but $40 for not even half of what the original destiny is unfair, so I get that. But it's not a big deal and not worth complaining about.

The bump into as all that was necessary then. It did say 'Bump' if you agree with any part of this comment.
-
Well now you have three bumps, and I don't agree with "everything" you said, if I only partially agree, why would I bump.
-
When you buy a car and drive it off the lot, it goes down in value by 50%. I don't think it's hard to believe old content on a game to go down fast.
-
Yeah but not 3 parts together = $20 fast. I feel like I could get more than $20 for my gameboy at Gamestop. OK that's stretching it a bit. Maybe $19.99 lol
-
But do they depreciate that fast? Considering Destiny is supposed to be a 10 year game it shouldn't be $140➡$60.
