RAID: Why is no one talking about this...
So this second DLC came with zero Raid... When we expressed concern & complained about this Bungie said "ohh look, a shiny horde mode" & their little fan club here said "[b]jusht you guysh wait, Sheres ghonna be anosher Raid later for fwee. Bungie ish sho awshome"[/b]
Yeah, no new raid & horde mode kinda sucks the balls big time (ToO yeah laggggggggg)... So now with the Lame King dropping soon & no mention of an [b]interim[/b] raid, are we to assume that we have once again bait & switched??
I really liked this game when it first dropped. But seeing all that was "promised" with the original destiny (trailers, marketing snipets, etc.) & how we are just now getting it with this second DLC, I cannot see how anyone is willing to drop their money before anything is proven to us by Bungie... For that matter, why continue feeding the troll that is Bungie?
Don't disappoint guardians, I expect some hate for this post so let's do this!!
[b]Edit: (for science)[/b] This entire post goes to show that people read the title & the bold words... Most of you missed the main point of this post & man is it funny. [i]season pass marketing said TdB raid & HoW Raid, HoW drops & we are told "no raid is coming till later in the year"... Thus why should we trust them to deliver on everything they are saying is gonna be in TTK? I mean they have it in the user agreement that they can change whatever they want whenever they want. So let's [b]wait to buy TTK till after release[/b][/i]

4 RepliesI feel like every now and then a free thing should be added to the game like a new strike. Not too often, maybe one between each DLC or something. And not too easy or hard, with the level being under 30 for those without the DLCs. (Not entirely sure how level caps work if you don't have the DLC.) I feel that's reasonable.

The real thing is how many people will even care for this post. Half of them are going to say something dumb, 24% will argue, 25% will sit there complaining, and 1% will avoid the others and actually be smart.

Because if you don't pay for the new raid, you just sound like a whiny baby who shat itself, with your hand extended out like Bungie owes you something. And if you do pay for the raid, well this rant/wild outburst was all for naught.

1 ReplyStrange that you would believe some [i] fanboys[/i] about what this game has in content, or even what the company has promised. I don't remember Bungie saying they would deliver a free raid to us. It does sting a bit, but I'm still satisfied with the prison instead of another cheesable raid.

3 RepliesThey confirmed a raid watch the vidoc video. It is likely to be oryx related maybe we kill oryx during the campaign but instead he does what he's done to the taken and takes himself so we fight a darkness oryx with a new moveset all for the sake of revenge for killing his son

I don't read much abt destiny though so it was most likely on Planet Destiny. Let's hope so. I've been told that this is being considered "Destiny 1.5". That Taken King is supposedly to be significantly bigger than the two we've already received. I've been told it's supposed to be double. I guess we'll see when the time comes around. I think it's going to bring a lot of people back. Xbox players getting Hawkmoon, a new Raid, that's hopefully going to emulate the significance of Vault. we'll see. I hope it's a great expansion to destiny. Cus I do love this game, but now there's only one thing I really enjoy doing, Trials. & after my flawless runs for the week, that's over. I can't explain how much PoE sucks, although Skolas is something I thoroughly enjoyed completing too. It was undoubtedly one of the hardest things I've done in destiny on Solar & Arc burns. No nukes.. Hopefully it's gonna be successful. & will bring a lot of people enjoyment across the board. From casual players to the hardened players, to the people who loved it, but left because of the mockery we've been made of by the developers. We'll see..... :/

2 RepliesI thought these posts died out? Anyway, stop blaming Bungie. Activision is the culprit here. With that contract, Activision controls all aspects of this game, and what gets released, and since Activision caters to bad players and the children who's parents buy their games and not the players that actually matter, Destiny suffered for it.
