PvE is not PvP damage...

A buddy of mine who's a HUGE PvP nut and I have been going back and forth for weeks about how the weapon balances work. I personally have loved them but, I'm a PvE player as I find PvP to be utterly worthless. My friend feels similarly but reversed and dislikes PvE. Similarly, I feel PvP is less rewarding for gear and he feels PvE is less rewarding for gear. Regardless, both of us however agree on one thing though. Weapon balancing should not be uniform across the entire game!!!!!!! Leave my goddamn PvE damage alone!!! I'm getting sick of losing guns I like using because crucible crybabies can't stand the nearest weapon balancing and want their favorite gun type to be top. Similarly, my buddy says to keep the no-skill PvE babies weapon buffs out of cruciclbe as according to him, pulse rifles are the most worthless pieces of crap that have ever come from Bungies asshole and they can shove them right back up there. Morale of the griping here?? Both sides of the coin are agreeing on one thing: seperate the PvE damage buffs from PvP buffs. Each game mode should not suffer the same debuffs because one side wants different weapons. Another thought we had was that if a weapon does 365 damage, then perhaps that should be what each clip in each gun does (with obvious retooling for the different gun types based on distance, I.e. damage drop off being suffered the least by sniper rifles). That means if your gun has 6 bullets, you do 365 damage in 6 bullets. It's not a flawless idea but more a core idea. Either way, both a no skill PvE player like myself and a crucible crybaby like my buddy agree that my weapon buffs and debuffs should NOT cross over into crucible and visa versa. Thoughts???
