Some Speculation

As some of you may have heard, there has been some leaked information regarding the next DLC, "The Taken King." One of the interesting aspects of this information (at least in my opinion) has been the hunter's new "Gravity Bow." Everybody has been quick to assume that it will be similar to the warlock's Nova Bomb, however I believe it will turn out to be quite different. First of all I would like to point out that both the titans and warlocks have a support-type class and super, the defender and sunsinger (respectively). The defender has the ability to grant overshields to teammates and extra damage to their weapons via Weapons of Light, and the Sunsinger class has the ability to self revive, and also has the Song of Flame, further reducing ability cooldowns. The hunter, however, has no such class, which brings me to my next point. What if the Gravity Bow actually did what the name implied? What if it created an extremely dense gravity field in the area that it hit? I believe the Gravity Bow could be the Hunter's new 'support-like' class. This gravity field might prevent enemies from moving or using abilities for a short time. This would allow your teammates to fall back and reload and recover health, without the worry of being attacked. This would be incredibly useful for nightfalls with light switch, and maybe even suppressing boss enemies (maybe it will prevent Crota from moving during the raid). So what do you guys think? Do you think this would be a better or more likely alternative to a new Nova Bomb? Or do you think Bungie might just reuse the Nova Bomb? Maybe you have your own ideas? Or you can discuss the other classes' new supers.
