The U-shape is his path, there's three rooms which have the glass that you can see him through, three different floors in the area.

I'm not sure, my only guess is his sword, seeing as he raises and lowers it, and can tear reality with it. So I'm guessing crota's sword now, final answer!

New answer, sword bearer? Same principle with the room set up, high/low pitch are heavy/light swings, when he dies (pinched), over soul appears and tears reality.

The Oversoul doesn't appear from the swordbearer dying. Good thinking though! One of the most educated guesses, even though it's not very close.

I meant swordbearer as in a guardian holding the sword haha Assuming it has nothing to do with crota then, i wanna say it's something with a void walker because of the grimoire, but I have to go to work so my time is up!

I just realized that you meant the player holding the sword. Very true now, but still a bit of a stretch.
