I thought that the smelter demon and the executioner chariot would be tough from everything I've heard about it, I got them both first try. Should I not have knocked the chariot off, would it have dropped something? Where's a good source of titanite chunks and twinkling? I want to upgrade my lance and sun sword but I have no materials. Also the Sunlight Spear is disappointing, it takes up two slots and doesn't do as much damage as I would hope... any way to make it better without wearing rings?

  • Easy chunks would be the bell keeper area. Guaranteed chunk/twinkling/ or dragon bone on kill of invader or if u invade someone else. For twinkling, shrine of amana drop rate has been largely increased. And for easy dragon, go to the first dlc with all the dinosaurs, right after u come out of the room of fighting jester thomas, there are a ton of the giant Dino monsters. If you to the right, on a body will be 3 dragon bones. Continue and you will find bonfire which u can instantly ascetic and get 3 more bones from the body. Do so until u have enough to max out whatever u need

  • Chariot doesn't drop anything, the outcome is the same whether you make it fall down the hole or not. The best place for titanite chunks it from Chloanne after you finish the game, she sells an unlimited amount for 6,000 souls each. Before then, I find the weird hand monsters that come out of the pools in Black Gulch to have the best drop rate for them, and they'll also drop large shards. For twinkling, it's best to farm the Archdrakes in the Shrine of Amana. They have a really high drop rate, especially with item-discovery boosting gear equipped. Dragon Aerie is a good place too, the crystal lizards drop some and the dragons have a change to drop them. There are a few ways to boost the damage of Sunlight Spear, assuming you aren't doing these already: - Make sure you have the base miracle requirement for it. If it's spiced down, it will lose damage until you reach the original requirement. - Chimes will affect the damage. I believe the Dragon Chime is the best for miracles, but whichever chime you use, infuse it with lightning if you're going to be casting miracles more than hexes. - The Sun Seal will improve miracle damage, and the Lightning Clutch Ring will boost your lightning damage. I don't recommend these though, the benefits will be minimal and aren't worth the ring slot.

  • I'm guessing they were talking NG+ and such when they said the executioners chariot, smelter demon and looking glass knight were hard, I haven't been this far in the game yet but their moves were really predictable. Why do people struggle so much with them? Am I just that awesome?
also FALLOUT 4 BITCHES!!!!
• I think it's just that different people find different types of bosses hard; the bosses people say are the hardest tend to be the slower ones that hit harder, whereas I personally find them to be the easiest.
Fallout 4 looks so good! Bethesda absolutely nailed that conference.
• Which of these should I get? Watcher Greatsword or Watcher Shield? Does it mean anything by "Unleash it's true power to enwreath in magic."? Also why is it so difficult to parry in this game? I'm talking pve, in DS1 it's about timing and it's easy, but in 2 it seems to be based on luck.

If you're a faith build, get the Watcher Greatsword. It has an in-built lightning buff, which I guess is its "true power" so it's decent for any build, but it's exceptional when combined with faith. The Watcher Shield is really good for PvP, but not so much for PvE. It'll take your opponent's weapon durability down slightly every time they hit the shield, I'm not sure it's enough the make any real difference though. If you infuse it with lightning, it gets 100% lightning resist, and it has a high physical damage reduction too, so it's effectively a counter-faith shield. It seems I got mixed up between the Defender's Greatsword and Watcher's Greatsword. Everything I said still stands though, but with an intelligence build rather than a faith build. Also, the Watcher's Shield doesn't drain durability, it's just a cosmetic effect. Parrying seem really inconsistent because they messed with the parry frames for different pieces of equipment. The closest item I've found to Dark Souls 1 parrying is the parrying dagger, and I'd recommend trying it out if you're used to the Dark Souls 1 parrying style.

  • Defender's Greatsword is for faith, not Watcher's. Also, Watcher's Shield does not damage durability. Honestly, I'd just use a good medium shield for versatility, both parries and good blocking.

  • Man, I always get those two swords mixed up. The acid effect must be purely cosmetic then, thanks for letting me know.
