Wait Time for Elder Cipher?
About two days back I finally got my first Elder Cipher and I'm extremely excited to get one of the new HoW exotics. My bounty is currently in the "wait for Variks to decipher" stage and I know it can take a while.
So, I was wondering how long it took most of you to get the cipher back and what I should look out for (as in if I get a notification, can verify over the mobile app, etc.). Thank you for your time.
Edit: Thanks for the information everyone! Variks finally decided to give me back the Cipher and so now I'm off to kill me some PoE bosses! For those of you still waiting on yours, good luck and happy hunting!

8 RepliesKilled skolas 2 hrs after reset on Tuesday and I'm still waiting. Think it's anything up to a week? At least if it's a week I'll get my boss kills just by beating the 32, 34 and 35 after reset

I think its maxed out for 3 days exactly when you gave the cipher. I can confirm that it took me about 72 hours for it to be done being "fixed". I am unsure if it can go on for longrr or shorter, but I beleive max wait time is 3 days. Could be wrong.

1 ReplyMine took just under two days. But there are folk out there at 3 or more days. Make sure you treat him nice and wave at him. He will appreciate it.

I've gotten two ciphers both took just a little over 24 hours to get back.

Titan started the wait last Tuesday......just got summoned last night.... Not quite sure what to expect with these damn things. As for notifications for completion? There is none in the app of in game for that matter I thought he "incomplete" box would get a check or something when it was ready but it didn't. Just visit variks when you can and hope that greedy -blam!-tard has your goods. Good hunting.

Edited by ItsThatRayGuy: 6/14/2015 12:05:05 AMThe wait time is 24-72 hours (for me it was) and it will work as a refresh. Say you turned it in at 2:45, it might be ready the next day at 2:45 and if not the next and if not the next at the same time.
