I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN A FRIKEN GALLY!!!
After over 270 hours I still have not Got Gjallarhorn!!!
Have any suggestions for getting it?

Over 1,100 hours and no gally. Stop complaining.

I don't understand why people use hours played when they say they haven't gotten x weapon yet. Most of these people's time is probably spent doing unproductive activities like crucible or patrol over and over again. Obviously if you play low chance, or pretty much any mode on the game, modes then you're going to go a crap ton of hours before you get the gun you want. If you're complaining, stop playing for a single gun and just do the raids and nightfall weekly to have higher chances of getting what you want while not sinking in hundreds of hours of your life. If you can't do that then go ahead and get to 1000 hours played before you get what you want.

A little over ten days? I had almost thrice your hours before I got mine.

I have a friend who had 1000 hours or so before it dropped for him.

Mine dropped at almost 3 times as many hours, that's what rng is all about
